Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful historic harbour with its excellent selection of restaurants, shops, cafés and galleries and the ferry to Lundy Island. The town centre, Landmark Theatre and famous Tunnels Beaches are also within easy walking distance. All bedrooms are furnished to a high specification throughout with many thoughtful little extras. There is a cosy licensed bar and an elegant dining room serving freshly prepared home-cooked cuisine, using fresh local Devon produce as available. Relax on the sun terrace over-looking the harbour where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an aperitif in the evening Winners of Ilfracombe in Bloom 2004 and 2005 and runners up in 2006. DIRECTIONS FROM M5 Junction 27 – Take A361 towards Tiverton / Barnstable. SCENIC ROUTE At South Molton you will come to a roundabout – carry on straight across. After approximately 2 miles you will approach a second roundabout – Turn right on A399 signposted Combe Martin / Ilfracombe. After approximately 15 miles you will go through Combe Martin village. Stay on this road past Ilfracombe golf course, through Hele Bay. You will see ‘The Olde Thatched Inn' on your left – The Collingdale is situated approximately 100 metres further on right hand side. DIRECT ROUTE VIA BARNSTAPLE On approaching Barnstaple stay on A361 and follow signs for Ilfracombe. As you come into the town you turn right at a first mini roundabout to traffic lights (DIY shop) - go straight ahead and through High Street. On heading out of town pass ‘Scarlet Pimpernel' garage to traffic lights – go straight ahead. Immediately there is a parade of tall Victorian houses on left, The Collingdale is situated towards the end. Parking is free on-street on main road at front of property, or on the Harbour long-stay or Marine Drive car park both situated at the rear of the building, which are both free from 9pm until 10am or priced at £2.80 for 24 hours
